The Plains of Abraham

Before my new Star Wars epic, my main effort to revive epic in English took the form of a historical poem about a key event in Canadian history, the Battle of the Plains of Abraham (1759). This poem, The Plains of Abraham, is an epic geared entirely towards scriptless performance, a kind of one-man show that takes about an hour to perform. Below I describe the poem and its two tours across Canada, the first in 2000 on motorcycle and the second in a much larger tour in 2005.

You are welcome to download a .pdf of the poem.
