Chariots of Gaul

Chariots of Gaul is an exciting historical novel for Young Adult readers, set in Ancient Britain and Gaul in the days of the Roman Conquest.

In 55 BC, when Julius Caesar invades Britain, young Ludu is forced to give up his job as the king's charioteer and head to Rome. There in the Circus Maximus, with the help of a Gaulish princess named Šila and a Greek publisher, he faces the best chariot racers in the world. But Caesar is threatening to conquer all Gaul and rebellion is in the air. As war bands and legions prepare for the final battle, can Ludu and his friends save a nation?

Chariots of Gaul can happily be read on its own, but it also serves as the sequel to The Roman Conspiracy and The Ancient Ocean Blues. Several characters from the first two books appear again — Aulus, Marcus, Paulla, and the overeducated Homer.

Chariots of Gaul is available on Amazon.
